Turning "We've Always Done it Like This" Into a Growth Mindset

One of my most hated phrases in business is "We've always done it like this"!

One of the hardest things as a business owner or leader is to get your team to a growth mindset. If you are doing something the same way and it's not working, you are never going to get better. If you are wanting to grow, you have to think outside the box and find better ways of doing it!

So, how do we get our teams to have a growth mindset?

It starts from the top!

Ask yourself these questions (AND I promise you there is ZERO judgement from me, because I know how exhausting it is sometimes):

❓Are you really ready for things to change?
❓Are you letting things slide because it's easier than challenging it?
❓Do you try new things but the follow through isn't there or you revert back to old ways out of habit?
❓Are you struggling to get buy in from your employees?
❓How's the communication within the team?
❓Do you have the support to implement change?

All of these can be reasons why your business or team feel stuck and not moving forward.

So what's the solution? Chances are if you are still reading you already recognize you may have a problem.

Taking ownership on how you could be contributing to the situation is the first step!

Second step is to come up with a plan on how you want to move forward.
